The company was founded in 1966 in Perdue, Saskatchewan; and has since expanded to include 8 locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Moody’s Equipment LP currently operates in Lloydminster, Kindersley, North Battleford, Perdue, Saskatoon, and Unity in Saskatchewan; along with High River and Olds, in Alberta. Moody’s Equipment LP is primarily known as a New Holland dealer (both agriculture and construction); but also carries a wide variety of agricultural shortlines (i.e. Bourgault, SeedMaster, MacDon), and turf and acreage products (i.e. Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, STIHL, TORO).
In 2016, a transition in ownership occurred at Moody’s Equipment LP, as PFM Capital Inc. acquired full ownership of all 8 New Holland dealership locations. The acquisition became official as of April 2016.
PFM Capital Inc. is a private investment firm headquartered in Regina, SK and through its funds is responsible for investing capital, almost all of which is raised from Saskatchewan and Alberta investors. Several of the executives at PFM Capital have strong agricultural roots, and understand the importance of the industry in Western Canada.
